As of today, it has been 3 years since I have opened my practice, Renovate Health and Wellness. I had a vision many years ago of how I wanted to treat my patients the same way that I wanted to be treated by a healthcare professional. Over the years, I have worked countless hours weekly providing the best care possible to more than 150 patients by providing evidence-based practice, scheduling follow-up appointments, referrals, and prescribing the most adequate medication to treat several health conditions.
In 19 years, I have provided medical healthcare as a Registered Nurse to the following: Medical/Surgical care (Cardiac Unit), Maternity (Labor & Delivery and Postpartum), and Hand Surgical and Infusion Centers. I have practiced as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in providing medical care in Family Medicine/Primary Care, Aesthetics (Botox and Dermal Fillers), Weight Loss Management, and Hormone Replacement Therapy.
I have dedicated my time to listening to my patients that want to be listened to, providing the best healthcare by blending advanced clinical expertise with a holistic, patient-centered focus. This involves educating patients, bridging healthcare gaps, and emphasizing disease prevention, all while building trusting relationships that empower individuals to take charge of their own wellness.
I have had many struggles with my small business as other healthcare offices do, as many healthcare medical insurances did not want to contract with my office and allowing the provider to be credentialed as a healthcare provider to provide care to their insured patients. In April 2026, after many negotiations, years of paperwork and applications, and proving that my office will always provide the best medical care possible, the insurances of Cigna, Anthem, and United Healthcare decided to credential myself as a provider and signing contracts so that many patients can be seen by our office and be billed through their insurance companies.
Also, being able to continue to afford advertising and marketing as both are extremely costly and the “word of mouth” has been the most cost-effective has it has been greatly appreciated by everyone and has assisted in keeping the doors open so that I may continue to see my patients. I have had so many people that have said “I didn’t know you were able to provide that kind of care” because of the limited marketing other than Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok which my office is currently working on to increase patient volume.
Lastly, many people do not realize that my office can assist with so many medical needs such as knee braces, Vitamin B12 injections, pain medication injections, and being able to obtain their prescription within minutes to their local pharmacy and be seen on the same day for their medical needs, prescription refills, follow-up appointments, etc.
