Such a rewarding day yesterday. Seeing athletes stagger into the massage tent and walk out semi-normal all the while thanking you for being there and how appreciative they are just gives you a warm fuzzy feeling. These athletes give everything they have just to cross the finish line. Some do it with personal best in certain events, some are just glad that they finish and unfortunately some don't make it across the finish line, but in my book you are all Ironman. You are all an inspiration.
Congratulations to all of the athletes who competed yesterday, whether you finished or not!
Can't wait to see you all again next year.
