ST38 (Lines Opening) is a classic point for shoulder pain and stiffness, especially when shoulder movement is restricted.
ST38 is found is on the outer front of the lower leg, halfway between the lower edge of the kneecap and the ankle, one finger width outward from the shin bone.
On the same leg as the painful shoulder press ST38 with your thumb using firm but comfortable pressure for 30 to 60 seconds, then release for a few seconds and repeat. While holding the point, gently move the painful shoulder through a comfortable range of motion.
