Noah Fultz is less than 1 year from the time of his injury, a complete Tibiofemoral dislocation and severance of the artery which supplies the lower leg with blood flow. This injury was followed by multiple surgeries….and would eventually lead to the loss of his leg.
While most 15 year olds would have been crushed. Noah showed unwavering positivity.
When talks of ever walking again were had….Noah said, I won’t just walk. I’ll run.
When talks of never playing sports again were had… Noah said, God tells me I’m more than just an athlete. I’m at peace with my identity. And if He wants me to play again, then I will.
When talks of amputation were had. Noah said, my body may not he the same, but my heart is full and my mind is ready.
Noah, today we would like to recognize you. Your resolve is second to none. The world could sure use a few more of you.
Funny how these things work: While it’s the injury you suffered that has caused us to rally today, you’re so much more than just an injury….Yet, the injury has shown the world just how much more you actually are.
