Twas the night before Halloween, and all through the center,
The magic was there for each child who entered.
The pumpkins were glowing, the stars shining bright,
And our heroes were ready for Halloween night!
For inside these walls, something magical grows,
In the smallest of victories that nobody knows.
A word spoken clearly, a new skill displayed,
A friendship beginning, a fear that has faded.
A first little “more,” a brave little “try,”
A child finding courage to reach for the sky.
From learning to share to learning to play,
Our kiddos move mountains in their own special way.
But behind every milestone, each giggle and cheer,
Are some very special heroes who show up all year.
No capes and no masks, no powers that glow,
Just patience and kindness wherever they go.
They teach and they model, they prompt and they praise,
They celebrate progress in countless small ways.
Through challenging moments, with patience they stay,
Helping our kiddos grow more independent each day!
And this Halloween brought a surprise for the crew,
Some superhero costumes, in bright colors too!
Because heroes like these deserve to be seen,
Especially when it’s the day of Halloween!
No need to fight villains or leap from a tower,
These heroes help children discover their power.
With every new milestone, each goal they pursue,
They help little hearts see what they’re able to do.
So tomorrow we’ll celebrate, laugh, and have fun,
And honor the heroes—yes, every last one!
For the greatest superpower, as we all can agree,
Is helping a child become all they can be.
And as Halloween neared, one thing rang true,
“Happy Halloween, superheroes—and thank you, too!
Your capes may be costumes, but one thing is true:
The REAL superheroes at ABH are YOU!” 🎃❤️🦸♀️
