What if your age was more than just a number? What if it was data you could use to live longer and better?
What I love about the test is that it quantifies biological aging—looking at markers tied to inflammation, metabolism, and cellular health—so you’re not guessing, you’re measuring.
From there, it becomes actionable. You can track how changes in nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress actually shift the trajectory of your DNA 🧬
We are talking on a cellular level.
That’s powerful.
If you’re someone who wants to be proactive about your healthspan, not just lifespan, this is the kind of insight that can guide real change. And if you’re looking for personalized support, health coaching can help translate this data into a sustainable plan that works for your life.
Because when you can measure it, you can improve it.

Balance. One of the most overlooked pillars of healthy aging.
It’s not just about preventing falls but about maintaining independence, mobility, and confidence in your body for decades to come.
The good news? You don’t need hours in the gym.
Small, consistent balance challenges can make a big difference. Start with brushing your teeth on one foot. Then continue to build from there. Yoga is another great way to build balance and core stability.
Some days feel harder than others. For me, my physical balance is a good barometer of how I’m feeling overall in life. Am I wobbly, unsteady, unsure…or am I steady, confident, stable? Some days feel harder than others.
Finding balance is a good metaphor for life. Strive for balance in and out of the gym
What things are you doing for balance? Drop your favorites below ā¬‡ļø

Day 7…Final day šŸ¤—
All of my skin has peeled off! I’m left with super soft, new, smooth skin. I’ll continue with a gentle cleanser for a few more days and then start back on my tretinoin regimen.
Sunscreen is super important right now. My favorite is EltaMD Skin Care - never breaks me out, no white casting and makes my skin feels smooth without feeling greasy or heavy.

Day 6…. Obagi Medical
Out of the woods. A bit of peeling left on temples and just along the hairline now.
Enjoying the soft, beautiful, new skin and feeling refreshed. My favorite skin care ā€œprocedureā€ I do. I love the ā€œalmostā€ immediate results and subtle improvements each time. Nothing dramatic, but just healthier skin over time.
Let me know if questions ā¬‡ļø.

Day 5…
Finally done with majority of peeling on nose, cheeks and chin. Now stating to peel on the forehead, and eyebrows with loose skin in those areas. Otherwise the worst is over šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø
The last few days not much happens, except when the areas near the hairline finally start peeling.

My goal was never to look 30 again. Honestly, the goal was to have skin that I could go makeup free in and not feel self conscious.
For anyone who’s struggling with acne, and PCOS, and wants to invest in their skin - start with a trusted dermatologist or skin care specialist to see what options are available to you. Start slow and don’t jump in too fast.
Focus on diet to start balancing your hormones: insulin, cortisol. Reduce toxins and inflammation, including sugar & alcohol. Eat a balanced diet, high in antioxidants and fiber. Eat clean. And please don’t smoke or v**e.
Invest in high quality skin care and be consistent. Wear sunscreen, yes everyday, even the cloudy days. Avoid tanning beds and sunburns.
I also had acne, which meant a lifetime of Tretinoin - yes it’s for acne, but it’s also for collagen, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, and minimizing pores. Start with some form of retinol in your 30s, you’ll be glad you did when you’re my age.
And yes, I look and act exactly my dad. I am my father’s daughter. He never ages. Genetics matter.

Day 3 Obagi skin peel Obagi Medical
Most of the peeling around mouth and nose is complete. Certainly cannot go out in public without a mask as the skin is peeling and shedding. Good time to work on home projects!
Since you cannot pull the loose skin off, you have to TRIM it off, yes trim it off šŸ˜‚
Trust me
You’ll be very sorry if you peel it off before it’s ready and can lead to scarring.
Continue with Obagi gentle cleanser, pat drying, and applying the Obagi hydrating crĆØme. This is part of your post peel care and is provided to you at your appointment. You do not need to buy this.

Quick Day 2 evening update of Obagi Medical skin peel.
This is usually the timing of the worst peeling around the nose and mouth. And also my favorite part šŸ¤— .
But also the timing when you cannot (or should not šŸ˜‚šŸ«£) go out in public.
Of all the skincare procedures I do, this peel gives me the most bang for my buck. I love how you can see it giving actual results šŸ¤Ž
People do peel at various rates depending on how dry or primed your skin is prior to the peel. After my first peel it was even more dramatic, and the dead skin was coming off in sheets. But this is a very typical time course for me.
Hope this is helpful! Give a like if it’s helpful to see the process.

Who else is getting ready for summer biking?
I’m busy working on quad and glute strength, staying hydrated with übr Water and getting my Garmin ready to track my rides.
Did you know that vigorous aerobic activity like biking boosts Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF), a key protein that supports brain cell growth, memory, and cognitive resilience?
Translation: better mood, sharper focus, and long-term brain health every time you ride.
Anecdotally, an observation I made in my office is that some of my healthiest, most mobile, and sharpest patients well into their 70s and 80s were all BIKERS.
When this pattern kept emerging over and over again, I knew it was a sport worth pursuing. I am confident the large quad muscles involved in biking and increases in BDNF have a critical role. Love science!
Now, who’s joining me on a ride this summer??!! šŸš“šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø
