We know we are supposed to drink water yet people are walking around severely dehydrated EVERYDAY!

Tips to consider:

Intentionally take water breaks
Sip water, don’t take big gulps
Drink water rm temp or lukewarm (only cold after during or after workouts)
Eat your water (fruits & steamed veggies)
Skip or Reduce the soda, alcohol & coffee (all are dehydrating agents)

Dillon Brooks is hilarious 😂

The outbreak has led me to conclude why is it that we don’t know where our food is coming from??

Why do we choose convenience over quality?!

Just asking questions no one wants to.

Hope you make it to a farmer’s market this season!

Mantra Mondays

“Movement is Mandatory”

Returning back to nature is so important and this was me the day after watching the Knicks win the championship. I was on a HIGH and felt like I needed to go on a hike because I was still in awe.

It is known that going out in nature keeps your cortisol levels down and blood pressure stable.
So try to go on a hike, do a nature trail or just take a walk. Please and thank you!

Injury Prevention: Feet 👣 Mobility

Our feet are our foundation and the quicker we come to this realization the better and stronger we will be. Our feet give us our most continuous contact with the earth.

Exercise: Try rolling a golf ball underneath your feet to loosen but also strengthen the fascia on the bottom of your feet. This helps to also loosen the muscles in your knee. Remember everything is connected.

Movement is Mandatory: Go on a Hike!

East Monguap Park has a trail in the back of the water way. My son knew about this because of the camp he attends so one rising since we got up early he decided to show me!

These were some of the views I captured. We will complete the trail before the end of the summer is up and we will be more prepared. Encouraging you all to hike and move outside this summer.

Injury Prevention: Hip Mobility

Our hips control movement forwards, backwards, side to side and up and down. Tension here means a reluctance to step out and move away from one’s center. Having strong hips is also a contributing factor to being more powerful in our movements especially as athletes. A big area to concentrate on when you want to build strength.

Get them hips moving!

Upper and Lower Back Mobility
stretching outside in nature!

Encouraging you all not only to move but get outside and move. Connecting with nature while moving has to be one of the best tools to keep your mental health stable. I don’t workout with music at all I listen to the birds chirp and trees away. These things keep me grounded!

Mantra: Movement is Mandatory!

Movement doesn’t always have to be complicated and can be as simple as taking a walk outside like I’m doing in this video.

Walking is such a simple exercise that fosters so many benefits like the one I mentioned in the video.

One hour of walking will cause the activation of fat burning enzymes. A morning and afternoon walk will keep these enzymes active around the clock and will clear cholesterol deposits in the arterial system as well as fat from the fat stores of the body.

Now go get your walk on!!!

Stop drinking soda it’s the worst drink that you could ever put in your body smh. And don’t hit me with the lighter sodas are better bc no they are not. All of them are terrible for your health!!! 😭😭😭😭

07/07/2026

Soda in itself is already a metabolic disaster and to now add flavored syrups, creamers and fruit juices on top of that is actually insane.

Sugar pulls moisture out of joints and organs and begins the process of atrophy which can lead to increased risk of injury and inflammation in the body.

Be mindful of the beverages you are consuming!!!

With gratitude,
