On Tuesday, August 4th, ADAC staff members tabled at 11 locations throughout Orange County for National Night Out 2026! NNO highlights the importance of creating strong community partnerships. It was a fun and safe night with vendors, family activities, fireworks, and more!

ADAC gave out several resources, including information about our CASAC classes, upcoming events, and ADAC services. Our staff members also gave out awesome giveaways, which included frisbees, bubbles, beach balls, sunglasses, and more!

Stay tuned for photos from Monroe-Woodbury's National Night Out Event, which will be held on Friday, August 7th at the Monroe Woodbury Middle School Main Parking Lot from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. ADAC is excited to support the Monroe Woodbury community at its' first National Night Out event!

Join us for a night of Remembrance on Monday, August 31st at 33 Park Place, Goshen NY 10924 from 6-8pm. There will be a candlelight vigil, remembering those we have lost to overdose. See the flyer below for more details. 💜

🚔🌟 Join ADAC as we celebrate National Night Out across Orange County Today!

We're proud to be participating in 12 community events that bring neighbors, first responders, and local organizations together for an evening of connection, safety, and fun.

📅 All events take place today Tuesday, August 4, 2026, except for Monroe-Woodbury, which will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026.

On Wednesday, July 29th, Prevention Specialist Ang Figueroa and Prevention Educator Crystal Baird tabled at Pine Bush Central School District's meal distribution event. They also tabled alongside Tri-County Prevention Coalition, with Project Director Alayne Eisloeffel and Program Assistant Izzy Bragaglia.

ADAC provided several resources on organization programs, safe cannabis storage, mental health, and more. They also provided stress stars, bags, and other swag. TCPC also provided several resources and information about the coalition, conversation starters for parents and teens on drug misuse, and more. They also had Deterra packs for safe disposal of expired prescription medication, lock bags for safe storage of medication, and coloring sheets for stress relief.

The Alcohol & Drug Awareness Council of Orange County (ADAC) is proud to be a community partner for the Youth Matter: Mental Health & Substance Awareness Youth Summit—a free event designed to empower young people through education, connection, and hope.
