The Vascular Experts is pleased to announce Dr. Eric J. Maldonado, MD, RPVI has joined our practice 🎉

Dr. Maldonado is a board-eligible vascular surgeon who joined The Vascular Experts in March 2026. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery and the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Maldonado earned his medical degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. He went on to complete his vascular surgery fellowship at Florida Atlantic University at Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, Florida where
he received advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of complex vascular conditions.
Dr. Maldonado provides comprehensive care for a widerange of vascular diseases, including superficial and deep venous disease, arterial insufficiency, aortic aneurysms, carotid artery stenosis, and dialysis access maintenance.

Dr. Maldonado will be treating patients in our Fairfield and Stratford offices. He is fluent in Spanish and provides care for Spanish-speaking patients.

The Vascular Experts is pleased to announce that Dr. Benjamin Chandler, MD, FACS, RPVI has joined our practice. We look forward to the expertise and compassionate care he will bring to our patients.

Dr. Chandler is a Board-certified vascular surgeon who completed his medical education at State University of New York, Downstate College of Medicine, Brooklyn, New York and his vascular surgery fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Chandler has over seven years of experience practicing vascular surgery in both hospital and community based settings in western Connecticut.
He is passionate about dialysis access, limb salvage, the management of diabetic foot complications, venous ulcers, cerebrovascular disease, aneurysms, dissections, and venous thromboembolic disease.

Dr. Chandler will be treating patients in our Danbury.
