Story Time: During a recent client visit, our Service Plan Manager, Lisa, stopped in to check on a client and caregiver. While there, she noticed several handcrafted birdhouses and learned that creating them was one of the client’s favorite hobbies. The client was appreciative that Lisa took the time to express interest in his passions/hobbies and continued to exchange stories.

As they talked, the client asked Lisa where she was from. When she shared that she is from Philadelphia—the City of Brotherly Love—he asked her to wait for a moment.

He returned with a birdhouse he had made by hand and offered it to Lisa as a gift.

He told her, “Thank you for being who you are. You seem to really love your job.”

For Lisa, who has always had a deep respect for older adults and a passion for learning from them, the gesture was especially meaningful. She proudly hung the birdhouse at her home as a reminder of the relationships at the heart of home care.

Moments like these are why our work is about so much more than a visit, a service plan, or a task. It is about listening, connecting, and recognizing the unique stories, talents, and lives of the people we are honored to serve.

We’re excited to share more about a meaningful milestone for SOLENVIA Caregivers: our first franchise agreement in the Tampa Bay/Palm Harbor/Clearwater FL area with Shaun and Jaminy Seagriff.

While this represents an important step in the growth of our franchise system, it is ultimately about the families, older adults, and caregivers we will have the opportunity to support. Shaun and Jaminy’s two-territory agreement will help bring SOLENVIA’s responsive, reliable, and compassionate approach to in-home care to more people throughout the Tampa community.

Natalie has been part of the SOLENVIA Caregivers team since March 2025, and in that time, she has shown the kind of dedication, flexibility, and heart that truly reflects what it means to S.H.I.N.E.

She is always willing to step in when extra support is needed, pick up shifts, and care for clients with a positive attitude. She is never picky, never complains, and consistently shows up ready to help wherever she is needed most.

One of the things that makes Natalie’s commitment so special is the distance she is willing to travel to care for her clients. With support from our caregiver transportation model, Natalie has traveled around an hour and a half to provide care — a powerful reminder of her dedication and the effort our team makes to ensure families receive dependable support.

After recently completing a case, Natalie is already asking where she can help next. That says everything about her heart for caregiving.
