Ice Cream ✅ Karaoke ✅ We’re making progress on our Summer Bucket List already! Last week, teens and adults with Down syndrome and their invited guests joined us for our Friday Friends Karaoke Night in Georgetown. We had so much fun that the good vibes kept going for an extra hour! We also held an ice cream meet-up in Middletown for all ages and had a blast catching up with the crew in place of our usual Wednesday cooking class.

We still need your help! We are looking for the following people to help us at Days of Summer Camp:
🧑‍⚕️ Volunteer nurses for our Sussex County (June 22-26) and Kent County (July 13-17) camps. Volunteer nurses are welcome to join us for just a day, a couple of days, or the whole week!
☀️ Counselors for Sussex County Days of Summer Camp (June 22-26) at the DSADE Milton Office. Counselors are teens or young adults who spend the whole week with us, paired with the same camper throughout. Counselors receive at least 40 hours of documented community service for their time.
🤝 Adult volunteers for all three counties: Sussex (June 22-26), Kent (July 13-17), and New Castle (July 27-31). Adult volunteers can help for one or several days and assist with the behind-the-scenes tasks at camp.

Do you, or someone you know, fit the bill? Tag them or share this post with your network! These positions are essential to making camp happen and we need your help finding the right people.

Applications for all of these positions are here: https://dsadelaware.org/events/days-of-summer-camp/

Please reach out to Jill at [email protected] with your questions!
