Many people living with serious or chronic illnesses can benefit from palliative care while continuing treatments recommended by their healthcare providers. The goal is to improve comfort, manage symptoms, and support patients and families every step of the way.

Signs it may be time to consider palliative care include:

🌳 Recently, we had the privilege of gathering with families, staff, and our community to honor the lives of those we were blessed to care for.

Together, we planted a tree in remembrance of our patients—a living tribute that symbolizes love, legacy, and the lasting impact they continue to have on our hearts.

May this tree serve as a place of reflection and a reminder that while life is finite, love and memories continue to grow.

☀️ Summer fun starts with summer safety!

Warmer weather means more time outdoors, but seniors are at a higher risk for dehydration, heat exhaustion, and sun-related illness. Staying hydrated, wearing sunscreen, seeking shade during peak heat hours, and reviewing medications that may increase sensitivity to heat can help keep summer enjoyable and safe.

A few simple precautions can make all the difference. Check in on older loved ones, encourage plenty of fluids, and help them stay cool during the hottest days of the season.
