Specializing in Small Animal Veterinary Medicine, our services are limited to providing optimal care for your pet. Our services include multiple diagnostic
modalities including radiography and ultrasound ( GE Logic 5 Pro system including color flow doppler, echo, and multi-mode echo ). Diagnostic blood chemisty analysis, blood count analysis, differential analysis with advanced Nikon 80i digital

microscopy for cell evaluation and parasitogy analysis. Our emphasis on preventative care to minimize risks of diseases including immunization programs to provide optimal prevention of diseases prevalent in our area, flea and tick control to inhibit the vectors of zoonotic disease transmission as will as intra-species transmission of disease. Preventative and prophylactic treatment of dental diseases is emphasized in an effort to promote oral health and prevent systemic diseases which may be associated with gingival and periodontal diseases. We offer flea and tick control products as well as the Hill's Science diet line and the Prescription Diet line.

🐾🌟 PETS OF THE MONTH: MEET HANNAH & CALLIE! 🌟🐾

Please join us in celebrating our adorable Pets of the Month, Hannah and Callie! 💕🐶

🐾 Hannah is 15 years old and goes by Hannah Boo and HB.
🐾 Callie Girl is 14 years old and is also known as Tattertails and Tatty.

These two sweet girls love one thing above all else: cozy naps! 💤🥰 And honestly, we think they have the right idea!

At 14 and 15 years young, Hannah and Callie are proof that the best things in life just keep getting sweeter with age. ❤️

🎉 Congratulations to Our Bravecto® Raffle Winner! 🎉

During Live on the Plaza in May, our Heritage Plaza Animal Hospital team had a wonderful time meeting so many new friends (both two-legged and four-legged!) while sharing information about our hospital and the services we provide to our Oklahoma City community.

We’re excited to congratulate Miura and her owner, Kayllyn, who were the lucky winners of our Bravecto® raffle! 🐾 Miura recently visited our clinic to receive her Bravecto injection, helping keep her protected all year from fleas and ticks.

🐾 What is a VCPR, and why is it so important? 🩺

A Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR) is the foundation of your pet’s healthcare. Before a veterinarian can prescribe medications, dispense flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives, or provide medical treatment, they must first establish a VCPR with both you and your pet.

This means your veterinarian has examined your pet, understands their health history, and is familiar with their individual needs. In most cases, this relationship must be established at least once a year, though pets with chronic health conditions or ongoing medical concerns may need to be seen more frequently to ensure they continue receiving the best possible care.

Keeping your pet’s exams up to date isn’t just about checking a box—it’s about ensuring they have uninterrupted access to the medications, preventatives, and veterinary care they need to stay healthy.
