Brookline Healthcare Celebrates Resident August Birthdays During Birthday Bash

Brookline Healthcare residents enjoyed a joyful afternoon of celebration on August 19 during the facility's August Birthday Bash, honoring residents with birthdays throughout the month.

The festivities began earlier that morning when members of the Baking Club gathered to create delicious homemade birthday cakes. Residents worked together mixing ingredients, and sharing memories while preparing the special treats that would be enjoyed later in the day.

Residents then gathered for an afternoon filled with music, laughter, and fellowship as Dale Keller provided live entertainment. His performance had residents singing along, clapping to the music, and enjoying a festive atmosphere with friends and staff.

Adding to the summer fun, residents were treated to cool, refreshing strawberry ice cream and beverages, providing the perfect complement to the homemade birthday cakes. The sweet treats were enjoyed by everyone as residents celebrated.

Residents and staff alike agreed that the celebration was a wonderful success, filled with smiles, music, delicious homemade desserts, and plenty of birthday cheer.

Congratulations, Deanna! 🎉

On August 18th, Brookline Healthcare proudly celebrated Deanna Cisney's discharge home after successfully completing her therapy program.

During her stay, Deanna worked hard toward her goals and formed many special friendships along the way. When asked about the best part of her time at Brookline Healthcare, Deanna shared that it was "meeting all the kind people."

In Photo 1, Deanna is pictured with her supportive husband, Ronald, and Jojo from Brookline Healthcare's Environmental Services Department. Their smiles reflect the friendships and support that helped make her stay a positive experience.

In Photo 2, Deanna is pictured with Michelle, Activity Assistant, who helped make her days enjoyable through activities, conversation, and encouragement.

The Brookline Healthcare team is honored to have been part of Deanna's recovery journey and is thrilled to see her return home. We wish Deanna and Ronald all the best as she begins this exciting new chapter.

Congratulations, Deanna! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your journey. We wish you continued health, happiness, and success at home!

The residents at Brookline Village enjoyed their very own farmers market! Fresh fruits and veggies, cheese, homemade treats including whoopie pies, muffins, brownies and peanut butter fudge! There were cold beverages to choose from, flavored lemonades and iced teas, as well as beautiful vases of fresh cut flowers for residents to take and enjoy. They were so excited to pick and choose from all of the fresh produce options, and were all smiles taking their shopping bags back to their rooms to enjoy their snacks!
