Ready. Set. Race! 🏁🌎 We’re kicking off one of our biggest events of the year: Amazing Race!

This August, StoryPoint Group communities like ours will take part in a week-long adventure inspired by The Amazing Race. Residents will form teams, earn points, take on challenges, and navigate twists and turns as they race their way through the week.

No two races will look exactly alike. Each community will create its own destinations, challenges, and experiences — making every adventure unique.

Today, our outing took us to Belterra, where we joined multiple StoryPoint communities from across Ohio for an unforgettable afternoon. With more than 60 residents in attendance, we enjoyed lunch together, mingled with new friends, tried our luck in the casino, and spent the afternoon cheering on the horses at the track!

It was wonderful to reconnect with familiar memories, create new ones, and meet so many incredible people from other StoryPoint communities. We’re already looking forward to the next adventure together!

We went and visited The Blue Goose Sports Cafe—and it definitely did not disappoint!

At Pinebrook, we’re always looking for new places to explore, and we love when our residents share their favorite local spots with us. The Blue Goose Sports Cafe' offered a menu with something for everyone, from juicy burgers and sandwiches to fresh salads, wraps, wings, and comforting homemade favorites. There were plenty of delicious choices, and everyone enjoyed a wonderful meal together.

A special thank you to Scott for recommending this gem. We had a fantastic time, and we’re always open to suggestions for future Thursday outings. You never know where we’ll discover our next favorite lunch!

This month’s Culinary Showcase featured a refreshing barley salad that was as colorful as it was delicious! We enjoyed a fresh combination of barley, sweet corn, black beans, crisp green peppers, and cilantro, all tossed in a zesty lime vinaigrette.

It was the perfect light and flavorful dish for summer, and everyone enjoyed learning how these simple, fresh ingredients come together to create a healthy meal packed with flavor!

Our lunch outing today took us to Bru Burger, where we enjoyed juicy, handcrafted burgers made with fresh ingredients and served on toasted buns with all the classic toppings. This week in Culinary Creations, we made banana roll-ups! 🍌✨

Using soft flour tortillas, creamy peanut butter, fresh bananas, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and a light drizzle of honey, our residents created a simple, delicious treat that was just as fun to make as it was to eat.

Sometimes the best recipes are the simplest ones, and this sweet snack was definitely a favorite!
