We are excited to announce the addition of Kara Richard to our Orange City office!

Kara is a native of Northwest Iowa and has been serving children, adolescents and adults in Iowa for the past 3 years. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa and is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Iowa.

Kara prioritizes a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach and has experience working with children and adults experiencing PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, relational struggles, and body image issues. Kara is trained in EMDR, attachment-based therapy and Internal Family Systems. She also incorporates the modalities of CBT, DBT, and polyvagal therapy. Kara enjoys integrating expressive and holistic approaches—such as art, mindfulness, movement, grounding techniques, and journaling—to support nervous system regulation and overall well-being.

Earlier this month, we celebrated the 5-year anniversaries for Vanessa and Jacque! We are so blessed to have them on our team and appreciate all they do for our clients and clinicians. They are truly leaders here at Elevate and we spent time sharing all the special qualities that make them wonderful clinicians.

Today we celebrated the 3-year anniversaries of two more wonderful providers, Ciara and Lindsay! We spent time reflecting on their journeys here at Elevate and thank them for the wonderful care they provide for so many clients! They are both gracious and kind and so supportive to our entire team!

Today we celebrated Kimberly Studer on her one year anniversary with Elevate Therapy & Assessment!

As a receptionist in our Milford office, Kimberly is often the first face our clients see when they walk through the door. Her friendly smile and caring heart make everyone feel welcome and supported.

This month we celebrated the anniversaries of 3 special providers!! Bri and Kallie have been part of the Elevate team for 1 year, and Hannah celebrated her 2-year anniversary with us! We were able to reminisce on their time with us during our staff meeting yesterday, sharing many of their wonderful qualities as people and clinicians. We are so thankful for these amazing women and celebrated with delicious treats!

Yesterday we had the privilege to celebrate Mariah’s completion of her supervised experience as we transition her to a fully licensed therapist! We spent time reflecting on her growth as a therapist, her ability to connect with her clients, and the kindness and warmth she brings to every session. We gifted her with miniatures symbolizing these traits and areas of growth. We are so thankful for her and everything she brings to the Elevate team!

Last week we celebrated the anniversaries of two of our therapists based in the Orange City office!

Amy joined us one year ago and is a wonderful addition to our team. She is kind, nurturing, and a true blessing to all who know her.

Jen celebrated 4 years with Elevate! Her work with children is admirable as she continually strives to learn and provide the best care possible.

We are very thankful for these ladies who are a blessing to their clients and co-workers!
