🌶️ NEXT BATCH COMING SOON: Cultivating Character, One Harvest at a Time

We are out in the fields today, hand-picking homegrown peppers to honor those who support our community! This harvest is a beautiful picture of the deeper transformation happening at The Ranch.

By planting and harvesting these crops, our students learn vital life skills, hands-on recovery, and the biblical process of sowing and reaping. Through daily teamwork and discipleship, these men are doing the hard work of allowing God to transform them from the inside out.

Every bottle represents real transformation. Here's what's coming fresh from the garden into this next batch:

Buena Mulatas: 160 deep-purple peppers for unique flavor and color.

Habaneros: 160 tropical peppers for a signature high-heat kick.

Serranos: 160 crisp peppers for a bright, classic punch.

Jalapeños: 80 savory peppers for the perfect touch of zest.

These beauties are heading straight to the kitchen. Stay tuned—your support directly fuels real recovery and transformation!

🔥🚒 A LITTLE HEAT FOR SOME HEROES WHO RUN TOWARD THE FIRE!

We want to give a HUGE thank-you to our local Milford Community Fire Department Station 71. They are doing an incredible job serving and protecting our community.

As a small token of appreciation, we dropped off a bottle of Refiner’s Fire Hot Sauce—made right here at Cincinnati Challenge Ranch from peppers grown in our garden. 🌶️

We figured firefighters probably don’t need any help finding the heat… but we thought they might enjoy a little extra! 😂🔥

Seriously, though, thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and service to our community. We’re grateful for you!

The Ranch isn’t just about getting men off drugs. It’s about preparing them for future success—personally and professionally.

It’s about giving a man the foundation, confidence, skills, and opportunity to step into a career and build a life he can be proud of.

Think of it as a launching pad into a new future.

But sometimes, one of the biggest barriers standing between a man and that future is something as simple as transportation.

That’s where you can make a life-changing difference.

With your help, we can jump-start opportunities by providing donation vehicles to men who successfully complete the program. A reliable vehicle can mean the ability to get to work, pursue a career, provide for a family, and continue moving forward long after the program ends.

A vehicle isn’t just a vehicle. It can be the key that opens the next door.

Congratulations Dan!!


Today we heard testimonies from students, staff, and volunteers about the impact Dan has made during his journey at the Ranch.

We also received an encouraging message from Executive Director Jaryd Motsinger on Luke 11:5–8 (the Parable of the Friend at Midnight).

Congratulations to Dan on successfully completing the program and earning his diploma—your hard work and growth are evident!

In honor of Jesse's vibrant spirit, a visitation will take place on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cincinnati Challenge Ranch Gymnasium.

The family would love to have everyone stay after the visitation for a meaningful celebration of life from 7pm to 9:30 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM, also at Cincinnati Challenge Ranch. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens.

Progress is always happening at the Ranch!

Our team is tackling a persistent drainage problem by installing a brand new French drain system. This project will safely divert water away from the buildings and keep our campus dry.

More importantly, this project doubles as a work therapy assignment. Hard work builds character, and projects like this teach the men in our program how to face difficult, physical tasks head-on. By working together to solve real-world problems, they are building the perseverance and teamwork needed to overcome challenges in their own lives.
