Meet Roger, our August Resident Spotlight! 🌟
Originally from Terril, Iowa, Roger spent 16 years working as a farmer, dedicating much of his life to farming and hard work on the land. Farming wasn’t just his job—it was his way of life, and he stayed committed to it over the years. 🚜
Outside of work, Roger kept things simple, with farming and work being his main focus. He also served his community on the Terril School Board from 1972–1978 and was involved with the Cattleman’s Board, contributing his time and leadership locally. 🐄
Family is very important to Roger. He is married to his wife, Mary, and together they have three children: one daughter, Teresa, and two sons, Todd and Brett. His favorite memory is his wedding and sharing 62 years together in marriage—a true milestone in his life. 💍
One of his favorite Accura activities is Bingo, which he always enjoys participating in! 🎱
His advice to youth is to keep your job if you have one, and value steady work and responsibility! 👏
