In the meantime, here are highlights from our recent outings!

We are proud to share that Carson Cancer Coalition has been busy. CCC is all about educating our BIPOC about cancer awareness, prevention and treatment. Caregivers, Survivors, Thrivers, Family and Friends of at Furlough’s Paradise was truly special.

We also enjoyed the wellness tea blending experience at Mohegan Sun with the WNBA Connecticut Sun Community Council members, especially meaningful during Mental Health Month. The energy was absolutely uplifting! Thank you 🫶🏾

We just wrapped up STEAM Saturdays for the school year, part of the Books to Basketball program Bernie Lofton🕊️ , which I’ve been involved with for the past four years. Right in Bridgeport, just blocks from where I grew up, these sessions remind me of walking to similar programs with my sister. It’s inspirational to see them explore new opportunities and passions.

Plus, the wellness retreat was a beautiful opportunity to connect and heal together. We’re really building something meaningful here 💪🏾🫶🏾❤️
