๐จโจ Co**ha Garcรญa Zaera was already in her 70s when her children gifted her a computer, expecting it would keep her entertained with a simple game of solitaire.
Born in Valencia, Spain ๐ช๐ธ in 1930, Co**ha had loved oil painting as a young woman, but she set aside her artistic dreams for decades while caring full-time for her ill husband โค๏ธ.
Instead of playing cards, she discovered Microsoft Paint ๐ฅ๏ธ๐จ.
Using nothing more than a standard computer mouse ๐ฑ๏ธโno tablet, no stylusโshe began creating breathtaking digital landscapes, carefully placing every detail pixel by pixel. Inspired by old postcards ๐, memories of her hometown ๐ก, and scenes from her imagination, she often spent up to two weeks perfecting a single artwork.
In 2017, her granddaughter opened an Instagram account to share her creations ๐ฑโจ. What happened next was extraordinary.
By March 2018, her stunning MS Paint masterpieces had gone viral ๐๐ฅ, gaining more than 90,000 followers in just one week.
Her talent even caught the attention of Disney ๐ฐ, which commissioned the 87-year-old artist to create a promotional poster for Mary Poppins Returns using Microsoft Paint.
Co**ha continued painting her peaceful digital worlds ๐๐ until her passing in 2023 at the age of 93.
Her story is a beautiful reminder that creativity has no age limit, and itโs never too late to discover a new passion. ๐๐จโค๏ธ
