Carina is officially E-RYT 500. 🖤

If you’ve taken her class, you already know. She cues the breath before you realize you’re holding it. She’ll put on a track that makes a full room stop taking themselves so seriously. And she’ll get you into a shape you swore your body didn’t do, then smile at you like she knew the whole time.

Now Yoga Alliance knows it too.

The E stands for Experienced, and nobody hands it to you. 500 hours of training. Thousands of hours actually teaching, in real rooms, with real humans who showed up tired and left different. Years of it. It’s the line between knowing yoga and knowing how to teach it. And it’s the credential that says you’re ready to teach the people who want to teach.

Carina has been the heart of this room since the candles first got lit. Now she has the letters to match.

We have a rare opening on our crew for a Yin teacher at Ritual Hot Yoga. Every single member of our team has been with our team for over 14 months and has had an internal promotion and we are looking for the right teacher who leads with class, empathy & servant leadership that could hold space in a class at Ritual Hot Yoga.

Requirements:
🖤 200 hour certification, Yin training a plus
🖤 A minimum of one year teaching at a studio. Not a gym, not a park, not a friend’s living room. A studio, with a schedule and a room to fill.
🖤 You’ve taken class at Ritual and can tell me, in your own words, what the room is and what it isn’t
🖤 Willing to start as a Teacher’s Assistant on trial. Everyone here did.
🖤 Hands on assists, towel service, cleaning the room after, promoting your own class. All of it is the job. None of it is beneath it.
🖤 Sales forward. You grow a community, you don’t wait for one

The process is an interview, an audition, and a hands-on assisting shift in a live class. All three. One night a week to start, then more if you earn it.

Ritual Hot Yoga at Bear Lake - the most beautiful weekend filled with rainbows, new friendships & a beautiful twist on yoga.

Ta**ra means “to weave.” That’s the whole point of this one. A home full of acquaintances & strangers with different jobs, different bodies, different reasons for driving two and a half hours to fold forward in a field. About 15 minutes into our sunny turned rain opening practice, we all were laughing like we knew each other for decades.
Then the storm came through. Nobody packed up. And the sky handed over a rainbow like it had been planning it all along.

That’s the practice. Not perfect conditions. Staying. Rain or shine, you adapt, you breathe, you stay together.

The good news: it doesn’t take a lake. It happens in the hot room at Ritual Hot Yoga on Highland Drive every day, with people who will know your name by your third class.

First Ritual Hot Yoga Salt Lake City Retreat in the books!

We are blown away by how much fun we had. Yoga, boats, community, love, food, intentions and fighting off the Bear Lake Monster. We couldn’t ask for more.
