Funeral services for Mr. William "Bill" Hochreiter, Jr. age 73 will be conducted Wednesday, September 16,2026 at 1 pm in Williams Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon to the service time.
Mr. Hochreiter was a native of Rochester, NY and had lived in California for a number of years before moving to Atlanta where he was employed by Coca Cola and had made his home in Milledgeville for the past 10 years. He loved TV, his pets, loved to collect artifacts.
Survivors include his wife, Terri Robertson Hochreiter; sisters, Beth Eisenhart and Lori Bow of New York and Amy Kalama Hochreiter Schnell of Tucson, AZ; a brother Eric Hochreiter of Rochester, NY; a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives also survive.

Mrs. Kathy Renfroe Mobley, age 71, of Milledgeville, Georgia, passed away on September 4, 2026.
A native of Fulton County, Georgia, Kathy grew up and spent most of her life in Douglasville, Georgia, before making Milledgeville her final home in 1995.
Kathy had a deep love for her family and found great joy in the things that made life uniquely hers. She loved music, anything mushrooms, her cats, and she treasured the peaceful moments spent on her porch looking out over the lake and enjoying the beauty around her. Above all, Kathy loved her family, and the time she shared with those she loved most was especially precious to her.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Renfroe and Betty Florence Bryant Renfroe; her beloved husband, Charles David Mobley; and her brother, Larry Eugene Renfroe.
She is survived by her son, Shawn Foster; granddaughters, Morgan Foster Williamson and Riley Foster; great-granddaughters, Leighton, Reeve, and Ollie Williamson; her son, Mark Foster and his partner, Tanya Massari; granddaughters, Allie Foster and Bella Foster; grandson, Blake Foster; sisters, Rebecca Fisher of Milledgeville, Georgia, and Linda Watson of Dandridge, Tennessee; as well as a number of other relatives and loved ones who will cherish her memory.
A funeral service honoring Kathy’s life will be held on, September 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in Williams Funeral Home and Crematory in Milledgeville, Georgia.

Nannette is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas O. Richey; a son Thomas O. Richey Jr.; four brothers David Nipper, Jesse (Phyllis) Nipper, Philip Nipper, Joel (Marie) Nipper and four sisters; Wilma (Dub) Taylor, Sara Crudo, Linda (Louie) Lunn, Rebecca (Bobby) Bowman.
She is survived by her children; Clara (William) Bridges, William (Susan) Richey, Angela (Keith) Guilford, and Robert Richey; six grandchildren Alana (Ryan) Bull, Ashley (Joshua) Jasper, Hannah (David) Prince, David (Anna) Guilford, Thomas (Anna) Richey, and Samantha Richey; two great grandchildren Olivia Guilford and William Richey; one brother Ray (Bonnie) Nipper; two sisters; Linnie Gail Drinnon and Joann Parrish and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
Nannette worked as an RN for over forty years while following her husband’s career in the Air Force. Her love of travel, shopping, and reading were well known to those who knew her

Lisa Allen Ross Allen, age 61, of Milledgeville, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2026. A Celebration of Life for Lisa Allen will be announced at a later time.

A native of Forsyth, GA, Lisa was born February 27, 1965 to the late Ezra Ross and the late Carol McSwain Ross. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Rusty Ross. Lisa lived in Monroe and Butts Counties for most of her life. She worked as a server for The Whistle Stop Café in Juliette. She loved dogs, plants, and hummingbirds.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Timothy Allen of Macon; her son, Mitch Thomas of Jackson ; her sister, Sandi Channey (& Ted) of Milledgeville ; her brother, Monnie Ross (& Theresa) of Ohio ; several aunts, cousins, and friends also survive.

Mrs. Ann Estelle Dougherty Woodall, 98, passed away on September 2, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 1 PM in the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Milledgeville with Rev. Terry Carmoney officiating. Burial will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Saturday from 12-1 PM.

Mrs. Woodall was a native of Maine and made her home in Milledgeville. She was the daughter of the late Henry Dougherty and the late Bessie Richardson Dougherty and was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Ivey Woodall, Jr.; grandson, Joshua Woodall; brother, Ed Dougherty; and sisters, Barbara D. Brown, Linda D. Molasky, and Carolyn Dougherty. She had worked with Madison Throwing, J.P. Stevens, and Grumman. Mrs. Woodall was a member of Pleasant Grove Church.

She is survived by her sons, Clarence (Martha) Woodall, III, Steve (Betty) Woodall, Raymond Woodall, Scott (Lorrie) Woodall; grandchildren, Maya Ptak, Stephanie Woodall, Melanie Woodall, Quentin Woodall, Mandy Woodall; 7 Great Grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Mr. Joseph Martin "Joe" Blount, 65, passed away on August 29, 2026. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 2PM in the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Milledgeville. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1 PM to 2PM at Williams Funeral Home.

Mr. Blount was a lifelong resident of Milledgeville and the son of the late James Morgan Blount and the late Sara Lee Larrimore Young Blount. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John, James, and sister, Becky Blount. Joe was a carpenter by trade and a Veteran of the United States Navy.

He is survived by his children, Leslie Blount (Jessica); Jaden Blount, and Jensie Blount; and grandchild, Persephone Blount.

Mr. Tommy Jay Hawthorne, 84, of Gordon, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026.
Services for Mr. Tommy Jay Hawthorne will be conducted Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 4 PM in Williams-White Columns Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Darrell Burns officiating. Interment will be private in the Hawthorne Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in Williams-White Columns Funeral Home, Tuesday, September 1, 2026 from 2 PM until service time.
Mr. Hawthorne was a lifelong resident of Gordon and son of the late Billy and Juanita Bryant Hawthorne. Mr. Hawthorne was a graduate of Wilkinson County High School and retired from BASF Corp. Preceded in death by his wife, Linda Massengale Hawthorne and brother, Johnny Paul Hawthorne, Tommy Jay enjoyed spending time with his son and grandson.

Mr. Emory Ray Franklin, age 99, passed away Friday evening August 28,2026 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 2,2026 at Grace Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 10:00 Am until the service time.
Mr. Franklin was born on May 20,1927 in Eatonton, Gas to the late Emory Young and Mary Doster Franklin. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Mr. Franklin is survived by his brother Tony Franklin, son Lanier Franklin (Merry), daughters Sheila Shackelford (and husband Ben), Robin Winters, and children, Desirae Franklin and Dwayne Franklin and 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 5 PM in Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Milledgeville with Rev. Larry Glover officiating.
Mrs. Stewart was a native of and had made her home in Milledgeville for many years.
She was predeceased by her parents Edwin and Sandra Vinson and a brother Frank Vinson,

She had been employed at the Antebellum Inn and worked at the Hampton Inn in Milledgeville.
She was predeceased by her parents,
And a brother Frank Vinson.
Survivors include her sons, Hayden Mann of Milledgeville, Edwin Mann and Garrett Mann of Orlando, FL; and a sister Sandy Ayoud of Milledgeville.
The family will receive friends from 4: until the service hour.
