An Acupuncture Approach An Alternative Approach to Health & Healing What is Acupuncture? Qi flows along pathways throughout the entire body- think of these as rivers.

Acupuncture is a medical system that has been used to diagnose, treat, and prevent illness for over twenty-three centuries. For thousands of years Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has acknowledged that there is a vital life force that flows through all things, which is called “Qi” (also referred to as energy). When the balance of Qi (energy) is disturbed this is due to a wide variety of issues which results in pain or illness. So if the “rivers” flow is unbalanced, think of a river having a dam and the water cannot flow smoothly, the water gets backed up and tries to overflow. This is what causes the pain or illness to result. By the insertion of the acupuncture needles, the dam will be opened and the water can flow smoothly again. Acupuncture helps to correct the balance of the flow of Qi. This stimulates the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Each treatment is personalized to each individual. For the past 5 years, Laurie has been the steady heart behind An Acupuncture Approach. From welcoming patients with a warm smile to keeping our office running smoothly, she has poured her heart into everything she does. Her kindness, dedication, compassion, and unwavering work ethic have touched countless lives, often in ways no one ever sees.

Through busy days, exciting changes, and every challenge along the way, Laurie has remained a constant source of encouragement, loyalty, and friendship. Our patients adore her, our team depends on her, and I am incredibly blessed to call her not only a coworker but a dear friend.

We have been working tirelessly since October to prepare for our Grand Opening on the first day of Spring 2026 — and we are extremely excited to celebrate with you!
This event has truly been a community effort. We are incredibly grateful for the support and coordination from the Village of Hebron Police Department, Public Works, the Mayor’s Office, and many local businesses who have helped make this a memorable experience for everyone.
In addition, we are proud to be rooted in several communities across Central Ohio and throughout the United States & beyond (12 states and 3 global & counting Ideal Promotions ). We are honored to have the Licking County Chamber of Commerce, Lancaster Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, Buckeye Lake Region Chamber of Commerce, The Granville Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Village of Hebron joining us for the open house and Ribbon Cutting ceremony.
🚗 Parking Information:
We are thankful to American Legion Post 285 in Hebron for allowing guests to use their parking lot (please refer to the map).
Additional parking is available:
• Along both sides of I-70 Alternate / US 40 (Main Street)
• Behind our office on Canal Street (see map)
🚧 Please note:
The area on Main Street directly in front of our office and extending toward the old Post Office (highlighted in red on the map) will be reserved for the event to help create a safe and welcoming experience for all guests.
