In our chaotic world, it's easier than ever to feel overwhelmed. Between social media, the news, and our entertainment, it seems as though everything around us is designed to make us upset. 😩

Anger is normal and natural.

In fact, it can be beneficial when it comes to setting boundaries and asserting our needs. However, it's important to know how to deal with anger in ways that don't hurt others or cause more stress. ♥️

June is Men's Health Month.

Men's emotional wellness has been overlooked. A long history of burying feelings and looking "strong" at the expense of emotional wellbeing has ingrained harmful, generational stigmas.

This article from Healthline discusses the challenges men face in maintaining emotional wellbeing and how we can work to create a more constructive dialog when it comes to their mental health.

We're ignoring the stigma surrounding mental health that stops many men from seeking help when they need it most — and it's literally killing them.

🧠💪 May is , and PDG is joining Mental Health America to highlight a simple, shared goal: helping people have more good days, together!

MHA’s More Good Days, Together campaign is about meeting people where they are and recognizing that “good” looks different for everyone. It doesn’t always mean being happy or productive; sometimes a good day is simply one that feels manageable, calm, or comfortable.

This year's mission focuses on four ways we can find more peace, more joy, and better overall wellbeing:

1. Define what “good” means to you.

2. Care for your whole self.

3. Work together for more good days.

4. Find your path.

😊 Check out the link below for more details and resources you can use to spread the word and make the world a happier, healthier place!

Mental Health America founded Mental Health Awareness Month in 1949 and has led the effort every May to promote mental wellness nationwide.

For many, Valentine's Day can bring stress, sadness, or mixed emotions.🫤

Singles, those grieving a lost relationship, or anyone feeling uncertain or dissatisfied in their current relationship may find the day especially challenging.

To help make the holiday easier:

♥️ Celebrate your relationship with yourself! Make a list of qualities that make your proud to love who you are.

♥️ Invest in non-romantic relationships. Make time for family or a friend. Pets count!

♥️ Practice mindfulness. Try meditation or gentle yoga to calm and lift your mood.

♥️ Avoid triggering social media, movies, and TV.

♥️ Reach out to loved ones for support. Plan a day with family!

♥️ Volunteer! There are ways to spread love that don't involve chocolate and fancy gifts!
