Tears and hugs were in abundance as Ms. Judith Stroupe completed her rehabilitation journey with us at The Lodge at Mills River - Health and Rehabilitation! 👏

From day one, she was determined to walk out on the day of discharge, and that is exactly what she did this week! When asked how she stayed determined through this process she replied: “You have to stay positive and listen to the professionals, and that’s what I did.” 😊

Congratulations, Ms. Stroupe! We are so proud of you! 💙

It was great connecting with our local community at the Aging In Place event held at Blue Ridge Mall in Hendersonville, NC!

At The Lodge at Mills River - Health and Rehabilitation, we believe that staying active, supported, and connected is the heart of living well. It was an honor to represent our community, share resources, and see so many familiar faces about how we can all support our older adults and caregivers.

During The Lodge Kitchen Live, our residents had a wonderful time creating their own individual peach cobblers and adding their personal touches to each delicious treat. Once the cobblers were ready, our staff members joined in to enjoy the finished creations and help with the taste testing!

This activity brought residents and staff together for an afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, teamwork, and plenty of sweetness. 🤗

Frankie enjoys spending time playing the piano. Music is a wonderful way for her to express her creativity, bring joy to those around her, and create beautiful memories. 🎹🎶

The SanStone Health & Rehabilitation Mountain Region team was honored to serve as a sponsor for the Pardee Hospital Foundation's Palm Royal event this past weekend held at Blue Ridge Community College.

The focus for this year’s gala was to honor Pardee’s new Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit. This resource will provide the compassionate care and support that our youth desperately need.

Investing in our community’s health isn’t just a goal for Sanstone, it’s who we are. Supporting this project is an investment in our shared future and we can’t wait to see the difference it makes. 💙

Mystery solved! Our residents at The Lodge at Mills River - Health and Rehabilitation put their detective skills to the test during our Summer Escape Room: Mystery of the Missing Beach Towel activity! 🕵️‍♀️🔍

Working together as one team, they cracked codes, solved puzzles, uncovered clues, and questioned our three hilarious suspects, Captain Carl, Fisherman Frank, and Sunshine Sally, to reveal the truth behind the missing beach towel.

It was wonderful to see everyone collaborating, sharing ideas, encouraging one another, and celebrating each clue along the way! 👏

Our residents had a splash of fun trying out our new Water Darts game! With water guns in hand and plenty of smiles all around, everyone enjoyed a little friendly competition. 💦🎯

The best part? Our residents got the chance to test their aim and even challenge the Activities Director! It was a fun-filled day full of laughter, teamwork, and unforgettable moments at The Lodge at Mills River - Health and Rehabilitation. 💙
