Alpha Spine Center

Alpha Spine Center ASC is a place of restored hope for people that have given up hope. Gentle proven care.

The Doctors at the Alpha Spine Center are trained to screen each patient that comes in our office to see if they have Spinal Dysfunction caused by pressure to their brain stem. We begin by screening each patient at their first visit to see if they have muscle tension, poor posture, imbalance, or misaligned legs. If a patient shows these symptoms, they continue to a more thorough evaluation using t

he latest technology. Using non-invasive scanning techniques, they are able to determine if there is pressure on a person’s brain stem where the atlas sits under the skull. If a patient DOES NOT show signs of pressure, then the doctor will not proceed with treatment, and will help the patient find another caregiver to help them with their condition. If a patient DOES show signs of pressure at their brain stem, then the doctor will proceed by taking detailed x-rays of the patient's spine.

The anatomy of the human spine is designed to be straight when looking at it from the front or back. When the spine shifts from the center to either side by 10 degrees or more, it is called scoliosis. Scoliosis creates stress on the nervous system and its proper functioning. It also causes heart and lung problems, severe physical deformity, chronic back pain, and osteoarthritis.

Scoliosis can occur at any age, but it often onsets in children, during the growth spurt just before puberty. Sometimes scoliosis is congenital; it is an abnormality present in the spine at birth. Other times it is caused by musculoskeletal dysfunction. But about 80 percent of scoliosis cases are idiopathic, meaning they have no specifically known cause.

We will conduct a free and thorough examination of your child to screen for scoliosis. If necessary, we will use orthopedic and neurological tests, nerve and muscle scans, and digital x-rays to determine the diagnosis and prognosis of any signs of scoliosis we find.

Schedule today for your free scoliosis screening!

Today, we pause to honor and remember the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted.

From all of us at Alpha Spine Center, we thank and remember our heroes this Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

NUCCA Care Can Help Expecting Mothers Adapt.
Pregnancy and birth can have far-reaching effects on moms and babies. Hormonal changes can lead to a variety of new issues for expecting moms. One hormone, relaxin, softens your ligaments and can lead to unstable joints. When paired with the growing shift in your center of gravity, it can cause a newfound clumsiness and newfound aches and pains. We call this “sloppy joint syndrome.”
We can help your body adapt to the many challenges it will face over a pregnancy. We will check you regularly for misalignments of your spine and adjust those misalignments when necessary so that your body and your nervous system stay in balance, at a time when your body is working hard to balance itself for two.
