This experience includes a listening session designed to uplift your voice and shape better support for moms and families. You are not just attending, you are contributing to change through helping with our research. No matter your race, background, or story we welcome all mothers, from pregnancy through 2 years postpartum, to join us for a day of connection, care, and community.

You will be compensated with a $75.00 gift card for your time, wisdom, and lived experience.
There will also be a Kick-Off luncheon with cajun sausage and chicken pasta, catfish, dirty rice, chicken wings and much more, LOL we want you to leave happy and full. Along with several giveaways everyone can use!

I just finished this natural heart shaped umbilical cord keepsake and I’m obsessed. The cord was cut in 2 pieces and the short piece fit perfectly inside the heart, so I was able to keep it “whole” before sealing it in resin. You can see all the gorgeous little blood vessels swirled together. It’s just so beautiful. 🥰

I took the pictures in front of my newly blooming flower tree with the sun shining through, and honestly, it’s stunning. A little heart that’s such a perfect reminder of the connection between parent and child. 💜

I cry every time I witness a birth.
In person, on a screen, or in a quiet moment scrolling past someone else’s story.
Not because it’s new but because it never stops being sacred.
It doesn’t fade with experience, it deepens.
I’ve come to call it Birth Tear Reflex… the tears that come from witnessing life enter the world.

I really wish I could capture just how pretty the placenta prints are in person. Here is another look at my most recent placenta art. Each new umbilical cord keepsake turns out to be my favorite! I can never not be amazed that our bodies create this disposable organ just to nourish and protect our babies! Honoring the placenta through art will never get old!

Y’all… this placenta was straight-up showing OFF.

I did the placenta print and an umbilical cord keepsake, and honestly? My whole doula heart did a little happy dance. There’s just something about seeing the “Tree of Life” literally right there in front of you — the organ that nourished a whole tiny human for months — turned into a piece of art this family will keep forever.
