In honor of , we want to give a shout-out to Dr. Mark Weinblatt Cheif of Hematology Oncology at Cancer Center for Kids at NYU Langone Long Island. He is the most caring physician, as he truly cares about his patients and their families. Dr. Weinblatt was Michael and Marc’s oncologist. We could not have gotten through everything in 2004 without his compassion and medical care - and for that we thank him.

Terrie continues to work with Dr. Weinblatt and his staff on a regular basis.

Certified child life specialists are trained to help pediatric patients and their families to cope with the challenges of hospital and clinic visits by providing play, education, and support. They aim not only to decrease the psychological trauma associated with illness, but actually try to make it a positive experience for the child’s growth and development.

We are extremely grateful to our extraordinary, dedicated NYU Langone Cancer Center for Kids - Mineola specialists. We thank you for all you do for our patients and families!
