This week, Family Tree Clinic joined our partners Annex Teen Clinic, Our Justice, and Planned Parenthood in connecting with Hennepin County Commissioners Angela Conley, Irene Fernando, and Marion Greene. Together, we shared how the County's leadership and investment in reproductive and gender affirming health care is making a real difference in our communities. We also discussed the impact of funding and our priorities for this work going forward. Family Tree Clinic is hiring!

The Clinic Assistant is a key Family Tree Clinic team member and will work to further our mission, vision, and values through providing direct service to our patients and supporting our medical and administrative staff in Minneapolis. The Clinic Assistant duties include working at the clinic front desk answering phones, scheduling patients in the NextGen practice management system, checking patients in and out for appointments, and answering patient inquiries.

Over the last year, three Clinic Assistants have moved into new roles within our team. We're proud to see people advance their careers, and it is especially exciting when that growth happens within the clinic!

The Billing and Coding Manager is responsible for overseeing billing functions, and overall patient fee revenue cycle. This position is responsible for developing effective and high quality standards, training and practices for billing services, defining and overseeing all billing functions and processes, assuring timely collection of payments, and generating accurate reports to support the financial management and revenue cycle of the clinical operations. The Billing Manager contributes to an organizational culture that is passionate, supportive, patient-and-client-centered and accountable to one another and our community.
