Recovery isn't one-size-fits-all, and neither should the support surrounding it be.

For some, that means treatment or medication. For others, peer support, family, community, or a combination of resources that evolve over time.

What works at the beginning of someone's recovery journey may look entirely different years later.

Creating more pathways to recovery means respecting those differences and helping people access the support that makes sense for them.

You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out for recovery support.

Sometimes the first step is simply asking a question, exploring what's available, or having a conversation with someone who understands.

Through peer recovery support, MnPRA helps individuals connect with resources, identify goals, and navigate the next steps in their recovery journeys.

Whether you're seeking support for yourself or helping someone else find it, we're here to help make that connection.

Recovery Month may be ending, but the work doesn’t.

Keep recovery visible. Use respectful language. Share resources. Check in on people. Encourage someone to ask for help when they need it.

The small things we do every day help create communities where people feel supported, respected, and able to keep moving forward.

Recovery deserves support all year long. 💜

Recovery does not have to look perfect to be real.

Progress can be making the call. Keeping an appointment. Reconnecting with someone. Asking for help sooner than you did last time. Trying again after a hard week.

We can make recovery harder when we only recognize the biggest milestones.

Small steps count too.

We’re set up and ready for the Walk for Recovery.

Today is about community, connection, and making recovery visible.

If you’re here, come find the MnPRA table, say hi, and spend some time with us. We’re looking forward to a really good day alongside so many people who care about recovery and the people behind it.

Support does not always mean having the answer.

Sometimes it looks like listening without trying to fix it. Asking what someone actually needs. Helping make a connection. Offering a ride. Checking in again tomorrow. Or simply staying present when things are hard.

The right support can look different from person to person. What matters is making sure people do not have to navigate recovery alone.
