When you change
“This is too much” into
“This needs structure,”
your brain exits overload and activates planning and follow-through circuits.

Love this!!

One thing I genuinely LOVE about my ADHD brain? The spontaneity. 😂💜

• Random plans become the best memories
• New experiences = instant excitement
• Routine gets boring FAST
• Sometimes we just need to follow the fun
• And yes…occasionally the plan changes halfway through the plan 🙃

Not every ADHD trait needs to be something we're trying to “fix.” Sometimes that little dopamine-seeking brain makes life a hell of a lot more fun. ✨

Sometimes the hardest part of ADHD isn't the trigger itself—it's not understanding *why* your brain reacted the way it did.

The more I learn about my triggers, the less I blame myself for them. Awareness doesn't make ADHD disappear, but it gives you a chance to respond with compassion instead of shame.

Your brain isn't trying to make life harder. It's asking for different support. 💛

Have you ever felt like you're your parents' therapist instead of their child?

For many adults with ADHD—especially women and only children—people-pleasing, guilt, and blurred family boundaries can become lifelong patterns. The good news? You can love your family deeply without carrying the weight of their emotional well-being.

I just wrote a new blog about parentification, ADHD, and learning to set healthier boundaries.
