What are poems?
Are they supposed to carry a piece of you in each one,
or are they just mistakes you keep repeating
until you’ve healed your wounds?

sharing my poetry is like giving people a peek into my soul

On a drunken night
words to smooth
whilst drinking on this wh**ky
belligerent but diligent
you fall in to a kiss
tasting the remanence of the leftovers upon my lips
your hand swooping the small of my back
eyes locked in
no longer looking for an invitation to go the distance
we’re met with each other’s heavy breathing
your hands excitedly
tryna grope the parts of me that hides from the sun
don’t think this wh***ey getting the best of me
is what he whispered in my ear to tell me
baby that’s all for you
now my intensity of curiosity builds
(hoping this n***a, don’t “short-change” me)
yet who am I to judge a book by its cover
cause soon as his pants hit his ankles he slanged it
(damn this n***a hanging)
now I just gotta ask my self lord is this a test
if it’s so I must confess, sin is within my grin
hoping that there are no other consequences that comes with it
so he asks; “you just gone stand there and look at me all night?”
I know his name ain’t Usher, but this must be what trading places feel like
mouth in awe cause this man is a freaky fantasy
he got my mouth in awe, and my body in it’s own reality
I just know this ain’t p**s running down my leg
only to find myself within a puddle on my bed
daaaaamn, it was just a dream
on a drunken night, God you at least could of let me get the head tho 😒😂
