Summer camp came to Fairview Masonic Children’s University Hospital, known by many today as M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital, last week.

Our child life specialists became “camp counselors,” bringing the joys of summer camp right to the hospital. Patients, families, and staff joined in on crafts, bingo, music, games, and plenty of opportunities to have fun together.

The week even included a special visit from the Minneapolis Fire Department, before wrapping up with a camp-themed lobby party with meals donated by Chick-fil-A, treats from Maui Wowi of Minnesota & Wisconsin, crafts, music, and more.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Summer Camp Week a memorable experience for our patients, families, and staff!

Peppa Pig made a special visit to M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital to wrap up an unforgettable 3M Open week! 🐷💚

As the tournament’s family-focused Sunday brought the week to a close, Peppa stopped by to spend time with our patients and families — bringing plenty of smiles and a little extra fun to their day.

Earlier in the week, several special Fairview kids had the chance to serve as Kids Captains during the tournament.

From unforgettable moments on the green to a special visit at Masonic, it was a week filled with fun, connection and memories for our pediatric community.

Thank you to the 3M Open for another incredible week and for giving our kids and families so many reasons to smile! ⛳️💚

These special Fairview kids had the chance to step onto the green as Kids Captains at the 3M Open!

Children of Fairview team members and patients at Fairview Masonic Children’s University Hospital (known by many today as M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital) got to experience a pretty unforgettable day at the tournament — and we loved cheering them on every step of the way.

We’re so glad these kids got to make some special memories and have a little fun in the spotlight! ⭐️

Today, these WWE Superstars met some of our own! ⭐

Chad Gable, Je'Von Evans, and Otis of WWE brought joy to patients and families at Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital, known by many patients today as M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital.

The event kicked off with a live Q&A emceed by Crisco Radio from KS95, where the WWE Superstars answered patients' burning questions, like, "Otis, what's in your lunch box?" and "How do you get so strong?"

Then they shared laughs, games, great food, dancing and special bedside visits with patients throughout the hospital.

We're grateful to have been chosen as one of WWE's Community Champions, a program that recognizes organizations providing hope and healing to patients and families while making a meaningful impact in their communities. The visit comes ahead of WWE's Summer Slam event in August.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone at WWE, Red's Savoy Pizza, dodopop, TB1Fund, and Minnesota Sports and Events for making this unforgettable day possible.

These are the physicians other doctors turn to for care.

Every year, Mpls.St.Paul Magazine asks physicians across the Twin Cities who they would turn to for theirs and their loved ones care. This year, more than 200 physicians from Fairview and University of Minnesota Physicians (M Physicians) were recognized as Top Doctors -- more than any other health system in Minnesota.

“We are incredibly proud to have so many of our physicians recognized for their clinical excellence and unwavering commitment to delivering patient-centered care every day," said Jaya Kumar, MD, an internist, nephrologist, and chief medical officer with Fairview.

For decades, Fairview and M Physicians have worked together to bring innovative care, academic medicine, and community-focused care to Minnesotans.

This Father’s Day, these Brave Boxes from The Brave Foundation - NICU Support brought encouragement and a little extra joy to dad’s and families in our children’s hospital NICU.

Shacreya and Nicholas Lee, founders of The Brave Foundation – NICU Support, were honored to be able to support fathers who are experiencing a journey they know all too well. Two of their children were micro-preemies whose lives were saved at Fairview Masonic University Hospital, known by many patients today as M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital.

We feel incredibly honored to continue serving the NICU that gave our family so much hope,” the family shared. “Every opportunity to support families within Masonic Children’s Hospital is deeply meaningful to us because this is where our story began.”

Thank you to The Brave Foundation for your compassion, generosity and partnership — and for helping NICU families feel supported when they need it most. 💙

Toys got checkups. Kids got high-fives. Goldy brought the energy. 🧸💛

We had a blast joining families at The Current's Rock the Cradle yesterday — a day filled with music, play and all the little moments that make childhood special.

From our teddy bear clinic to sun safety tips and conversations with families, our pediatrics care teams and volunteers loved helping kids learn that taking care of their health can be fun too.

We are grateful to Minneapolis Institute of Art and Children's Theatre Company for letting us continue to be part of this joyful event.

Today, these twins turn one. 💛

But Fiona and Phoebe had an uncertain start in life. Carrie Zirbes’ pregnancy with her twins was rare, high risk, and filled with unknowns. Mono–mono twins meant the babies shared the same placenta and amniotic sac.

Carrie and her babies needed careful monitoring, coordinated care to give them the best chance at survival. Our maternal-fetal medicine specialists were there every step of the way.

Now, as the family celebrates a new milestone, they are grateful for the extraordinary care and support they received.

Help us wish them happy birthday and read their full story in the comments.
