Twin Cities Midwifery offers personalized, safe, and empowering maternity care provided by Certified Professional Midwives and Licensed Midwives. Our services include prenatal care, homebirth (including water birth), postpartum care, and newborn care throughout the Minneapolis and St Paul area. Because continuity of care is one of our core values, we have you meet all of the contracted midwives on

our team so you can decide which one you would like to have as your primary midwife throughout your care. Our offices are in South Minneapolis, White Bear Lake, and Inver Grove Heights. Twin Cities Midwifery serves families of all races, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities. Our personalized care is built upon safety, evaluation, education, and shared decision-making so that each family receives the support and guidance they deserve during their incredible journey. We offer complimentary consultations to families wherever they’re at in their family planning - just starting to think about it, recently found out they’re pregnant, or well into their pregnancy. Our midwives are happy to answer any questions or concerns, and most importantly it gives families a chance to get to know the care we provide and to see if TCM is the right fit for their family! ✨ Had the honor of supporting an amazing three-peat family last night as mama gently eased her 9 lb 8 oz baby into her own hands during a beautiful HBAC (home birth after cesarean) in the water, right in their bedroom.

What a joy to welcome this little one and celebrate baby #5 with their family and honor their 3rd VBAC with TCM! ✨

✨ Fun Facts about Cailin:

What brought you to midwifery: when I learned the a midwife was the best cross between a nurse and a physician (via the pregnant tutor of my best friend’s sister-she was seeing a midwife & I went home to tell my Family Practice Physician father “did you know about these people called midwives?” He responded with “Yes, I work with a couple. Would you like to shadow one sometime?” And then I saw my first birth within the year.

Favorites outdoor spots in the cities: gravel/country roads for cycling (Northeast of the Cities is my favorite) & running near lakes

Favorite childhood book (or favorite book to read to a kiddo): Dr. Seuss books

Eeekkkkk Happy Admin Professional Day to our AMAZING Office Manager and Administrative Director, Emily!!! 💕 Plus business consulting partner extraordinaire!

We are so incredible grateful for all you do for us, the many balls you juggle, the many threads you track for us, and all of the grounded problem solving you are eternally up for! I can't believe that we are celebrating EIGHT years with you on our team, holding down the fort, keeping things steady and calm no matter what we are navigating or unpredictable schedule challenges we throw your way!

So incredibly grateful to have you on our team, to have your grounded presence a part of every day, for our families and for ourselves! Even though we rarely get to be together in person, grateful for the many many many times a day we communicate across Monday through Fridays! And when we do get those rare hours or days together in real life, it is just such a dream to be by your side! (Seriously, the people that live with you should be sooooooooo grateful!) Love your sense of humor, your attention to detail, and your incredible brain that is able to help with big picture plans and the smallest details, all that the same time!
