The MCOHS, recognized regionally, nationally and internationally for its impact, has a service area that includes Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North and South Dakota. MCOHS provides graduate academic and research training programs, continuing education and outreach activities, including research-to-practice, and serves as a regional resource for industry, labor, federal, state, and local government agencies, agriculture, and other interested parties. In recognition of Occupational Health Nurses (OHN) Week and National Public Health Week (NPHW), we are highlighting the work of Dr. Carolyn Porta, Director of the Occupational and Environmental Health Nursing (OEHN) program and our OEHN students.
