After many weeks of effort, the star quilt is complete!

Anita Lovelace, a Leech Lake Ojibwe Elder, started this design early in the year. She was gifted the fabric by a community member because, they said, "Anita would know what to do with it."

Anita found herself picking up a couple of other projects before she could complete this quilt, but was happy to be able to finish the design. IHB and our Cultural Craft Group is honored to provide local Native artists a space to finish their works!

If you are interested in starting a new project or finishing something you've been working on, come to our Cultural Craft Group Wednesdays from 1-3pm, at the 2020 Minnehaha Ave. building.

There will be NO Cultural Craft Group today, August 12th, due to staff availability. We hope to see you next week!

On Thursdays be a part of our Drum & Dance Group and learn Powwow jammers along with our Drum Instructor Fredrick LoneEagle. Or dance along to the beat!
