⬆️ This is what I mean when I say special interests drive Resonant Speech sessions with kids. 🦠 Meet the virus, platelet, red blood cell & white blood cell puppets! I made these to match a client’s interest in the immune system and they did not disappoint! Puppets are great communication temptations. After picking up a puppet, we naturally want to make them talk and interact! I find just a few moments with hot glue and felt to prep can keep a kid locked in for weeks! ❤️ 🤍

Such a simple, beautiful way to describe gestalt language processing! Love thinking of gestalts as constellations. If you know a child who communicates using scripts they borrow from important moments, shows, etc., they might be a gestalt language processor.
