Every creation was different, and that’s what made this activity so much fun! It was a wonderful opportunity to explore creativity, encourage self-expression, and enjoy the simple joy of making something colorful and unique. 🌈😊

Our Petals neighborhood enjoyed a week full of fun and meaningful movement programs! From bowling 🎳 and drumming 🥁 to a little soccer ⚽ and some relaxing yoga 🧘‍♀️, there was something for everyone!

Movement activities are a wonderful way to encourage physical activity, coordination, balance, confidence, and social connection—all while having a great time together. We love keeping our Petals residents moving, engaged, and smiling! 😊

Our Petals neighborhood had a wonderful time in our Jewelry Making Class, creating beautiful bracelets of their very own! 📿💜

Activities like jewelry making offer so much more than a finished piece—they encourage creativity, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and self-expression, while also providing a wonderful opportunity for social connection and meaningful conversation.

We loved seeing everyone choose their beads, share ideas, and proudly show off their finished bracelets! 💕 There’s nothing quite like creating something beautiful together.

Last week, we celebrated Employee Appreciation Week at The Waters on 50th! 💙

Our team was treated to a week filled with fun, appreciation, and plenty of delicious surprises—from a Coffee Bar each morning ☕, a Dirty Soda Bar in the evenings 🥤, and wonderful food throughout the week, to our rolling snack cart making its way around the community. We also enjoyed raffles with some fantastic prizes!

Most importantly, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank the incredible employees who make The Waters on 50th such a special place. Your dedication, compassion, hard work, and commitment to our residents and one another truly make a difference every day.

Thank you to all of our amazing Waters on 50th employees—you truly are “The Heart of Our Team”! ❤️

We enjoyed a wonderful visit from Secondhand Dog in our Petals neighborhood! Our residents loved spending time with their furry friend through gentle interaction, companionship, and plenty of smiles. 🐶❤️

Pet therapy can provide meaningful benefits for older adults, including reducing stress, encouraging social connection, stimulating memories and conversation, and creating opportunities for comfort and joy.
