The Minnesota Birth Center has birth slings in each of our rooms! We can use the slings to promote comfort, movement, support, swaying, relaxation, and stability during labor and birth. 📣 We are excited to announce that the Minnesota Birth Center team will be at the Babies & Bumps conference this weekend!

Whether you’re expecting, planning to conceive, or navigating life with a newborn, we’d love for you to stop by our booth. Come meet some of our incredible midwives and staff, ask questions about the birth center experience, and learn more about how we support empowering, family-centered care.

Join us virtually for a two part breastfeeding course held by the Minnesota Birth Center! This course has been specifically designed for out-of-hospital birthing families, to give you all the breastfeeding information, support, and confidence you need to get your breastfeeding journey off to a good start when going home soon after your birth.

Our birth center is looking for a compassionate and dependable Birth Assistant to join our care team!

If you are passionate about supporting physiologic birth, nurturing families, and working in a collaborative environment rooted in respectful care, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities may include:
🤍 Supporting midwives during labor and birth
🤍 Assisting with newborn and postpartum care
🤍 Preparing birth rooms and supplies
🤍 Providing emotional and physical support to families
🤍 Helping create a calm, safe, and welcoming space

Ideal candidates are:
• Calm under pressure
• Team-oriented
• Flexible and reliable
• Passionate about community-centered maternity care
• Experience in birth work or healthcare is a plus

This is more than a job — it’s meaningful work serving growing families during one of life’s most sacred transitions.

Shout out to Barb who has been knitting us beautiful baby hats and sent us these ones! We have several creative and generous knitters, including some of our midwives and other staff members, who supply us with adorable newborn hats. Each baby that is born with our MBC team is given one. Did you get one for your newborn after birth? Send us a pic! We would love to see your baby!!
