When flowers get transplanted...
Jan recently brought Black Eyed Susans and planted them for us all to enjoy together. But transplanting can be a stressful process.
There is the labor involved, the planning, the consideration around timing, season, and location. And even still, when all the work is done, there is the wondering and waiting as roots settle.
This Flower-in-the-making was wilted, and we have experienced hail, wind, and humidity. But with Jan's faith in transplanting and a team that has our eyes and caring hands on this plant before and after classes, it is making itself at home.
To transition is to trust. To tend daily. To ask for help.
And while those roots stretch, it is a gift to watch growth and beauty bloom before our eyes.
Thank you Jan for this gift that is bringing us together.
