Introducing... Annalise Gulstad, MA✨

Now Accepting New Clients!

Annalise provides individual psychotherapy that is based on curiosity, humor, creativity, and collaboration. She believes that we all have our own forms of resiliency and ways to create a fulfilling and purposeful life. In sessions, she helps you explore how personal, relational, and social narratives weave together to form beliefs and values, and she will work with you to create individualized forms of self-care. She uses a range of modalities that are trauma-informed, mindfulness-based, and person-centered.

Annalise often works with people who have experienced trauma, with ADHD and/or ASD, who are feeling depressed or anxious, and people who find themselves unintentionally repeating the same patterns in life. She believes it is important to understand why we do what we do to move forward with intention, and clients have described sessions with Annalise as feeling conversational and insight-oriented.

A little kindness can go a long way! 💛

You don't always have to do a grand gesture to make someone's day a little brighter. Holding the door, offering a genuine compliment, or simply taking the time to check in with a close friend can make more of an impact than we realize.

And kindness benefits the giver, too. Doing something kind for others can help boost your own happiness and fulfillment. That's a double win in our books!

Small, consistent habits can make a meaningful difference when it comes to managing anxiety. Consider adding a few of these small steps into your daily routine:

🏃 Move your body: Take a walk, stretch, run, or try yoga each day.
🚫 Cut back on triggers: Limiting caffeine, soda, and alcohol may help reduce feelings of anxiety.
💤 Prioritize rest: Getting consistent, restful sleep gives your mind and body time to recharge.
💬Share your load: Talk with someone you trust about what’s weighing on you instead of carrying it alone, or consider therapy if it feels too much to handle on your own.
☕ Make time to slow down: Try deep breathing, spending time outside, drinking a cup of coffee away from the chaos, or taking a few quiet moments away from your day.

You don’t have to change everything at once. Start with one small habit that feels manageable and build from there. If anxiety continues to interfere with your daily life, therapy can be a supportive space to find strategies that work for you.
