Last week, over 50 seniors gathered for the first-ever Camp Joy, Lifespark's overnight summer camp—and what a joy it was!

There were shared dinners and shared stories, pontoon boat rides, arts and crafts, bucket-list adventures, and evenings around the campfire. Friendships sparked, and memories were made.

We are incredibly grateful for the sponsors, team members, and seniors who made this all possible.

There's no doubt that flowers brighten a room, and Minnesota non-profit Bluebirds & Blooms is helping spread that joy, one bouquet at a time.

Since its founding in 2018, the organization has repurposed donated flowers into bouquets, delivering more than 150,000 arrangements to residents in memory care, hospice, and other care communities.

As a sponsor of Bluebirds & Blooms, Lifespark Hospice, with the help of Lifespark Skilled Home Health and our Core Services Community Liaisons, was lucky enough to hand-deliver bouquets to seniors in our communities earlier this month.

What a delight to connect with an organization that shares our passion for fostering connections and bringing joy to residents in senior communities.

We're honored to be featured in the American Senior Housing Association's second installment of the Senior Living Profiles series! 🎉

This story traces Lifespark's journey back to the 1990s, when CEO Joel Theisen, working as a nurse on the frontlines, witnessed the challenges seniors face and set out to create a better aging experience.

Today, Lifespark serves seniors across more than 50 communities, with a mix of assisted living, independent living, memory care, and skilled nursing facilities—and plans to continue growing beyond Minnesota and Wisconsin.
