Some of us have been feeling this year in ways we can't quite name. In the body. In the chest. In the quiet moments when everything slows down enough to notice.
Summer Solstice is a threshold. We can let it pass unnoticed. Or we can meet it with intention.

This year that threshold carries something rare. In Chinese cosmology we've entered a year of double Fire. With Solstice, seasonal Fire arrives too. Creating a level of intensity most people are feeling in their bodies and lives without understanding its source.

This Sunday, we create the conditions to cross it well. Sound, qigong, and sacred ceremony.

Designed to process and integrate, to come back into right relationship, and return our energies to the biofield.

Embodied. Alive.

Last evening there was a storm.

What started as a sunny, hot, humid day — shifted just before sunset. With a cool breeze and rumble of thunder. Before I even had a chance to look up, the hair on my arms stood up. My body knew before the lightning flashed across the sky.

That's Summer. Not gradual. All at once.
The full body knowing before the sky confirms.

Elemental Fire moves fast. It is expensive. Electric. Expressive.

And in my experience, this is one of the most potent times of the year to work with the Fire element of the human energy field. Because the energy itself, has fully surfaced.

The Small Intestine is the Heart's most trusted partner. Every move, every impulse, every decision, every moment the Heart beats; it's the one responsible for getting it right.

When Summer arrives like this, the sorting energy is alive and accessible. It's available in a way that it simply cannot be in February.
