Tough morning…

The NØRDHAVEN truck is officially out of commission 😬👎

But we still managed to pack everything up, get to WBL County Park, and keep the sauna hot and the paddleboards on the water.

Some days just remind you why Minnesota summers are so hard to beat.

Today is one of those days.

Blue skies, comfortable temps, and the lake is looking about as good as it gets. Whether you’re looking to spend 90 minutes out on a paddleboard or unwind in our wood-fired sauna, today is a perfect day to get outside.

If you’re looking for us today, you’ll notice we’re set up in a slightly different spot.

We were happy to make a little extra room for Heartbeat for Hunger, an incredible community concert supporting the White Bear Area Food Shelf. Every ticket and donation helps provide food and support for thousands of local families, so shifting our setup was an easy decision. (Heartbeat For Hunger⁠)

We’re still here with wood-fired sauna sessions and paddleboard rentals—just a few steps away. Stop by, soak up an amazing day at the lake, and if you’re around this evening, consider checking out the concert and supporting a cause that’s making a real difference in our community.

There’s something about the slow and steady rhythm of just showing up.

Not chasing overnight success. Not trying to force anything. Just continuing to put in the work, welcoming people well, serving them well, and trusting that each week is another step forward.

That’s what NØRDHAVEN has felt like. A lot of quiet work behind the scenes, mixed with encouraging little breakthroughs that remind us to keep going.

Our hope is simple: that as we keep showing up, more and more people will get to experience what we’re building—a place to slow down, connect, and embrace the elements.
