Uptown Therapy MPLS I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, (LPCC ). I have an office in the heart of U My perspective on therapy is practical and effective.

I work with adolescents 14+ years and Adults, both individually and as couples. It works well with many problems: depression, anxiety and more general issues. I know the importance of identifying and focusing on the unique details of the problem area. I value the importance of the collaborative process. I want to hear you and I want to assist you to be able to engage your problem on its fundamenta

l level and I have experience doing just that. Collaboration and focus with a prioritization directed toward change. Therapy is not always easy but it should be an "effort-reduced" movement that can be very rewarding.

Trauma is any event that threatens the integrity of the physical organism or psychic apparatus.

Catastrophic physical trauma is any degree the organism loses its physical integrity that leads to permanent use restrictions in whole or in part and are not recuperable post trauma inducing event.

Catastrophic psychic trauma is any degree the psychic apparatus--i.e. Psyche: ego, id, superego; loses its symbolic integrity that leads to permanent functional restrictions in whole or in part and are not recuperable post trauma inducing event.
