Welcome springtime, hello Forest Fields. 🌼

There’s nothing quite like the smell of a Midwest meadow in the peak of spring. The aromas of a time and warmth returning that have been so missed since winter rolled in to put everything to rest. It forces us to breathe deeper, and an awareness for what surrounds us returns.

Forest Fields is our celebration of spring, rebirth, and awakening. Brewed with blood orange, chamomile flowers, ginger, sumac, and mineralized sea salt - it’s warming, awakening, and subtly present.

Happy World Sauna Day. 🔥 🌊

Our focus today is on the gratitude we have for the sauna community. Grassroots social groups, businesses, events, brands, and experiences are popping up all over the globe - all in an effort to take back some intentional time from our stressful and chaotic world. Sauna has been part of the human experience for more than 10,000 years, and we couldn’t be more aligned with all the good it brings.

Hoping you all can find some warmth and contentment this week.

It’s impossible to comprehend how much chaos is in our world right now, and it only seems to take up more headspace each day. While being aware and educated about what’s happening is vital to keeping us moving for the better - we must also make time for our wellness and nature. How you spend these precious minutes is how you impact those closest to you, and inevitably build a life that echoes out into the world.

To doom scroll for every shred of knowledge, or to book an hour for sauna and cold plunge to just be present with friends? To binge a show so you’re fully distracted, or to find nature and just let everything settle down around you? To isolate from everyone to silence the noise, or to connect with like-minded people who are also seeking ways to prioritize their health, and the health of those around them?

And speaking from experience, we don’t always spend our time in ways that support our ideals. Life is damn hard and messy, and we can only take so much before things start to crack. What we do know, full and well, is that when we intentionally choose a practice like sauna - meet a new friend, do something hard, or stay in that cold plunge for thirty seconds longer - we find joy, hope, and contentment.

Whatever you choose to do this week, we hope you’re all okay out there and can find some peace. ✌️

Not many more days of steam like this. 🌬️

As the cold of winter gives way to warmer mornings and brighter days, our vision for Superior Coast comes more into focus. Inspired by the alpine botanicals of the Last Word cocktail, we carefully chose an herbal blend of elderflower, hyssop, sage, juniper, licorice root, mineralized sea salt, and lime. Superior Coast will likely always be an evolving blend of botanicals, until we hit that perfect chartreuse profile.

Hard Earned Victory 🌊🔥

There isn’t enough that can be said about the value of doing hard things. Each time you push your body or mind to do something new and challenging, a door opens. You find what you’re capable of, and what it feels like to push further away from your comfort zone.

We were honored to be a part of the Sauna Camp retreat this past weekend, where plenty of type 2 fun was had. Glad we were able to keep everyone hydrated during their day in cold waters of Lake Independence. Thanks for having us and see you next year.
