We are excited to share this feature from the University of KU School of Medicine-Wichita Department of Family & Community Medicine highlighting Dr. Ryan Weir and Dr. Autumn Weir and their commitment to rural healthcare and mentoring the next generation of physicians. 💙🌾

Dr. Ryan Weir joined the Minneola Healthcare team in April, and Dr. Autumn Weir will begin seeing patients in August. We are thrilled to welcome both physicians to our community and know they will make a tremendous impact on the patients and families we serve across Southwest Kansas.

Both physicians are accepting new patients, and scheduling for Dr. Autumn Weir will begin in the coming weeks.

We are gearing up for the 2026 Minneola Community Days festivities, and we are loving all of the red, white, and blue around town! Thank you to the Minneola Community Days Committee and all of the volunteers working hard to organize another great weekend full of events and fun for our community.

As we head into Memorial Day weekend, we also want to take a moment to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day. ❤️🤍💙

Please note that our clinics, outpatient services, and business offices will be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day. Our Emergency Room will remain open 24/7 to care for our community’s emergency healthcare needs.

Thank you to the Minneola and all responding fire departments, first responders, farmers, ranchers, and community members who have come together to help protect our communities over the last several days.

Your grit, compassion, sacrifice, and dedication do not go unnoticed. We are forever grateful for the long hours, courage, and commitment you continue to show while serving others in difficult conditions.

Please continue to pray for the safety of all firefighters and first responders who are still out in the fields battling these fires and pray for much-needed rain.

Holy cow — what a day!

Beautiful weather, great golf, and an incredible group of people coming together to support the betterment of rural healthcare in our region. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better first year for the Minneola Health Care Foundation Golf Tournament!
