Community First Services and Supports (CFSS) offers more flexibility, choice, and control over how you receive care. 🧡

Minnesota's transition from PCA and CSG services to CFSS is underway, and the deadline to make the switch has been extended to September 30, 2027. This extension gives participants, families, and providers additional time to complete the transition and avoid interruptions in care.

This month, we recognize the anniversary of the landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision in Olmstead v. L.C., which affirmed the right of people with disabilities to receive services in the most integrated setting appropriate to their needs. ⚖️

For more than two decades, this decision has helped expand opportunities for people to live, work, and participate in their communities with the supports they choose.

Home and community-based services like the ones we offer here at Accra play a vital role in making this vision possible. Every day, Caregivers, Direct Support Professionals, families, advocates, and service providers help individuals maintain independence, make their own choices, and remain connected to the people and communities that matter most.

This position supports people in our Individualized Home Supports (IHS) with Training program. You'll work one-on-one with people in their homes and communities, helping them develop skills that promote independence, confidence, and quality of life.

One day you might be helping someone create a household budget, navigate community resources, or attend a medical appointment. Another day, you could be teaching life skills that help someone live more independently and achieve their goals.
