We are looking for a friendly, dependable Medical Assistant to join our busy eye care practice. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in providing excellent patient care, we’d love to meet you.
As a Medical Assistant, you’ll work closely with our doctors to prepare patients for examinations, perform diagnostic testing, document medical information, and help ensure a smooth patient experience from start to finish.
What you’ll do:
-Welcome patients and create a positive first impression
--Obtain medical histories and document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
-Perform pre-testing and routine diagnostic eye tests.
-Prepare patients for eye examinations and procedures
-Assist doctors during patient exams as needed.
-Help manage patient flow to keep appointments running efficiently.
-Maintain exam rooms and medical equipment, including cleaning and sterilizing instruments.
-Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
-Work as part of a team to provide outstanding patient care.
