🌈 Group Alert: SELF-LOVE: A GROUP FOR LGBTQ+ ADULTS!

The purpose of this group is to provide Q***r people residing near Minooka, Illinois the space to work together to build self-esteem, confidence, and self-love.

This group is designed to affirm and validate individuals' experiences with homophobia and Q***r-related bigotry, while also providing the necessary tools and coping mechanisms to heal from those instances and become more resilient.

🧠 This group utilizes core theoretical concepts from Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy.

💐 This Mother’s Day, we honor all the ways “mom” shows up.

In our office, motherhood isn’t one story—it’s many. It’s moms to biological children, stepmoms, moms to children we didn’t give birth to, and those who are walking the path of trying to become mothers. It’s moms to fur babies, and it’s also those carrying the quiet grief of miscarriage and loss.

We see you. We hold space for you. And as therapists, many of us bring these lived experiences into the room—offering not just clinical support, but deep understanding, compassion, and care.

Wherever this day finds you, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

💪 Wrapping up your athletic career? WE WANT TO HELP!

Alex Nieves of Rivier Counseling Group, PLLC is holding a group for individual 17-30 from ANY SPORT who are retiring/have already retired from that portion of their life.

Many athletes find their purpose and identity in sports, and are not properly equipped for a life after athletics. This group will build on and translate the skills acquired through sport into our everyday lives, in an effort to collaboratively develop meaningful paths forward for athletes who may feel lost or confused grieving their post sport life.
